Ruth, 1946 --- Mack's Texas Rose

This Award is a  small token of the love, respect, affection,
and friendship, I hold for my loving, caring, partner in life.

This site would not be complete without a page honoring my wife who has put up with me, through thick and thin, for 58 years.  We have had our ups and downs, even a few sideways, but we have persevered and she is as loving and pretty today as she was in 1946 when we were married.  She is a sharing, caring person and deserves a Medal Of Accomplishment for what she has given her family and her friends.

Ruth has a variety of interests; bridge, piano, accordian, gardening, and such, but when asked if she would like to have something posted on this page, she said; "Please ask people to show empathy for all of the, poor, homeless pets awash in the world, to have their pets spayed or neutered, and if they are planning on acquiring a pet, to please contribute and adopt from their local humane organization."

Oreo, the Parti-Poodle shown below, was adopted from the Dallas County Humane Society (a no kill animal shelter) and is a joy to us both.
