WELCOME TO AMERICAN LEGION POST #368 Jackson-Hughes-Jimison American Legion Post #368 was recognized and chartered November 8, 1957, and has now been in existence for over sixty-one (61) consecutive years. The original Charter Member and Commander from 1956 to 1957 was J.J. Pearce whose “namesake” is J.J. Pearce High School located in Richardson, Texas. The Auxiliary Units consist of the American Legion Auxiliary chartered October 14, 1993, Sons of the American Legion chartered November 19, 1995, and Riders of the American Legion. We currently have a roster of 480 Legion Members with a combined total of approximately 600 Members with the inclusion of the Auxiliary Units. We are a “not-for-profit” association and participate in local Charities and Organizations which include but are not limited to: • Fisher House • Network of Christian Ministries • Boys State & Girls State • Cancer Research • V.A. Hospital • Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts • National Cemetery • Children’s Hospital • American Legion Baseball Post #368 has been awarded numerous District and State Certificates, Plaques and Trophies for the work we do in support of the American Legion.
