Kandy's Angel Story

The Big Question For Pet Owners! Do Pets Go To Heaven?

Kandy, a mixed breed, loving pet, belonged  to my son. Kandy left this earth  on November 28, 2003. She developed large tumors and the veterinarian recommended strongly that she be put down.

Before taking her on her last trip, before she crossed the Rainbow Bridge,  my son took the pictures above, at the same time, with the same camera. There was no rain, there were no sprinklers, and the pictures above were absolutely not digitally manipulated in any way.

We were amazed at the first photo, in fact I sent it to a large group of friends, some semi-professional photographers,  asking for their opinions, and without exception, they felt it was either unexplainable or divine intervention. One reply was very touching.. The explanation was that God was telling my son that Kandy was joining Him in heaven, before he went through the trauma of putting her down. I personally, think that the photo represents divine guidance and a message from God  that all pets will end up with Him in heaven.

You can form your own opinion after viewing the first photograph; only you can be the judge of the meaning of this photograph.. The following poem will touch the hearts of all pet owners.

Kandy is in God's Memorial Pet Garden and you can see her memorial on the

~ A Dog For Jesus ~

I wish someone had given Jesus a dog
as loyal and loving as mine
to sleep by His manger and gaze in His eyes
and adore Him for being divine.

As our Lord grew to manhood His faithful dog
Would have followed Him all through the day
While He preached to the crowds and made the sick well
And knelt in the garden to pray.

It is sad to remember that Christ went away
To face death alone and apart
With no tender dog following close behind
To comfort its Master's Heart.

And when Jesus rose on that Easter morn
How happy He would have been
As His dog kissed His hands and barked its delight
For The One who died for all men.

Well, the Lord has a dog now, I just sent Him mine
the old pal so dear to me
And I smile through my tears on this first day alone
Knowing they're in eternity.

Day after day, the whole day through
Wherever my road inclined
Four feet said, "I am coming with you!"
And trotted along behind.
